In 2001 she produces and directs her first opus "La Entrega". Her second movie "Como pasan las horas" sees the light in 2004. The script for this second film was developed with the collaboration of the playwright Daniel Veronese.
The film holds its international debut at the BERLINALE (Berlin International Film Festival), and participates in various international film festivals: Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata, Festival de Cine Independiente de Buenos Aires (BAFICI), Jerusalem International Film Festival, Festival de San Sebastián, Vancouver International Film Festival, London International Film Festival, Hong Kong International Film Festival and Thessaloniki International Film Festival, in which she receives the FIPRESCI awarded to the best inter-national film. In January 2006 she is awarded the FIPRESCI Argentina mention for the best local film made in 2005. In May 2006 she is receives the award for best work of fiction by a female filmmaker at the Festival Internacional de Cine Pobre, Cuba. She was nominated for the Cóndor de Plata in the categories Picture, Director and Photography. In May 2007 she receives the award "Découverte du Jeune Cinéma Argentin" given by FEMIS- Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Métiers de l'Image et du Son – during the ninth edition of "La Sudestada".

In February 2007 her third film "Extranjera" has its world debut at the BERLINALE and travels to numerous international film festivals, as well as being nominated for the Cóndor and Sur awards. In 2009 she receives the award Argentores (Argentine Authors Association) for best script adaptation.

Her fourth film "El Recuento de los Daños", based on the tragedy of Edipus, was filmed in 2009, holds its international debut at the sixtieth BERLINALE in 2010, then shown at the Maison de l'Amérique Latine in Paris, as part of the celebrations for the Argentine Bicentennial, to enter later in the year the official competition at the BAFICI.

Currently she teaches Filmmaking and Script at the Universidad del Cine, and reads lectures on cinema and philosophy.
